Twin Baby Moose and Sprinkler
27/Jul/08 09:51 AM
Even if it's
just for a short while, these twin baby moose
(mooses?), accompanied by their mother, are playing
and enjoying life around a sprinkler.

I would really love to have seen this in person in my own backyard. But since I can’t I am so glad that technology nowadays allows me to view what someone else is able to experience.

Morning Kisses
13/Jul/08 09:05 AM
I took Coda out this
morning to say hi to him, and I did my usual, ask him
for a kiss. He will usually lean forward so I can
give him a kiss on the beak, but this morning when I
asked “can momma have a kiss?” he leaned
forward and made some quite little clicking/smacking
sounds!!!!! Oh it was so cute, he was giving me
kisses. I loved it!!!!! I hope it wasn’t just a
one time thing, cause he was so cute when he did
that. Just melted my heart knowing that he knew what
I was asking for. He is one smart little guy.
Stickam Live
12/Jul/08 12:38 PM
Going to try something new. I have been told by the
kids that Jasmine screams pretty much all day long
while I am at work. So to see if I can see what is
going on, I have setup a Stickam account with a live
feed. You can view the live video on my page that is
called Stickam Live.
Everything that you hear may not be just from Jasmine, as Coda is in the same room with her and he has been praticing all his sounds and new words.

Happy Hatch Day!!!

Happy Hatch date my dear sweet Indie. You are finally
2 years old.
He has been going through a terrible molt this year. Seems that he has had bad molts the last couple of times. Well this time he lost his beautifully LONG tail feathers and I was able to take a picture of them. Look at how long these suckers are!!! Pretty long for such a little birdie.
I laid them down along side my cutting mat so I could see just how long they are. In case you can’t make it out, it says 8 inches!!!!!
Poor little guy, he has no long tail feathers as of this moment and he looks really small without them.
I think I have also mentioned this before, but will say it again. Unless if by some miracle happens within the next year, Indie is a FEMALE. I was really hoping that he would be a he, oh well guess thats life. Still love the little bugger.
On another note... I have some new video of Coda, he was talking a bunch tonight, so I got him on video. I am pulling those off my camera right now. But probably wont upload them until tomorrow.
Until next time... have you loved your birdie today?
