Jelly Roll

First Feathers

I decided to be brave when I quilted my Jelly Roll Juction. I quilted fetahers in it. While they wont win me any awards yet, I was quite impressed with myself and very happy with the outcome. I still need to practice more and get better at corners and curves. But with practice practice practice comes perfection.
Personally I don’t think I did too bad for it being my first time, what do you think?

Finally got the Jelly Roll Juction quilt finished. I ended up changing the lay out of it from when I first posted pictures of. Here it is all completed and quilted.

Jelly Roll Junction

Found this wonderful pattern on a blog Thought since it was made using a Jelly roll that I would use that pattern for my jelly roll. I have had this jelly roll for a couple of months now. I had plans of making something wonderful for a dear friend, just not sure what that wonderful was yet. Until I saw the Jelly Roll Junction. I just loved it, and figured it couldn’t be that hard to make, so I set myself down and started on it yesterday.

Now Nicole, used 2 Jelly rolls, I only had one, and I just want to make something the size of a good lap quilt. So far I am pleased with my creation.
What do you think? I still need to sew all the blocks together, and then figure out what design I want to quilt in it. I haven’t decided if I am going to add a border on it yet or not. I probably will.
Boy if I could only keep on this wonderful track of getting these done this fast I could have tons of things finished!
